@ArtDonna84 The G&L website. Of course, with the American custom ones, you have a lot more wood options, but the basic woods are the same.

I own a USA made G&L S-500 Deluxe and as all who have owned G&L's, they are second to none. I have been a Fender Strat / Tele fanatic and still find the G&L are superior made quality guitar. I've always believed that if Leo hadn't died at the beginning of his G&L creation with George, that the G&L brand would have taken the World by storm. Tributes are also bar none, better than many USA made brands from other guitar makers. You get a lot of guitar for your money.

@Canadianspunge I've never heard this before. Can you tell us where you found this information. Thanks

I'm not sure if this is destiny, but I've been drooling over the 3TS Rosewood S-500 Tribute for the last 6 months. I'm getting super close to laying the hard earned down. When I flicked to your vid, I noticed you're wearing the exact same shirt as me. Maybe the guitar gods are nodding approvingly and saying "just buy it already".

@souperman63 cant wait to get mine, these guitars are great machines! :)

It's actually the same woods too that they use in the U.S. It's just that in the U.S., they're made mostly by hand, while with the overseas models, they're built by machines. Just better quality the American way, but same woods.

Nicely done
Great playing man! Looks and sounds great. By the way, is that the tribute or US S-500?

it's the tribute. It's a great guitar for the price. G&L puts their U.S. electronics in it so the only difference really is the assembly overseas, and of course the wood selection i'm sure. I got it for around the price of a mexi strat and it plays like an american.
