so first of all he was the premier enterainment industry dj, not a specific dj or noise maker for the crowds and always had fun doing what HE wanted not a label not his fans just the traditional dj fame, doing in right and doin it better than any other person, Come on , who else can mix johnny cash with hip hop as good as him.

Actually if you search deep, AM's sets were so different. Some nights he would play the top 40's with a little mix of his surprises. One night when he played in NYC, he played heavily hip hop from artists mainly from brooklyn, bronx and queens. Another night he would play heavy techno/trance mixed in with a few surprises. Another night he would mix everything, trance, hiphop, oldschool hiphop, rock, heavy metal, R&B. He was such a well rounded DJ and that is what sets him out from the rest.
