A convoy consisting of two M2A3 Bradley APC's and on HMMWV was ambushed by a squad of Russian soldiers at approximately 0600 Hrs on the 26th of June. 8 Soldiers have been reported as KIA. One UAV pilot is currently MIA in enemy territory. A Marine Search and Rescue team initiated operation Zulu under the orders of Cpt. Tom Rutherfield. The Search was called off a week later on the 3rd of July. This video of the ambush has been compiled from satellite footage and footage from cameras mounted on the convoy.
