  • Umm NO its not! ITS QUACKERY!

  • @blabblab1212 Most of us in the medical community are looking for just about any excuse NOT to prescribe Rx to children for ADD/ADHD... is the parents clamoring for these drugs that are the bain of our existence.

By the way... for some children these Rx are next to life saving when prescribed appropriately and properly supervised.

  • DC receive 5200 hr classroom instruction AND two years clinical?

How many chiropractors participate/complete those postgraduate programs (? <5-10%)... what % of MD's/DO's do no postgraduate training... that would be 0% since the 1980's.

Give it up... a few extra classroom hours and pathetically few clinical rotations... no meaningful postgraduate training for the vast majority of chiropractic graduates... thats nothing to brag about and you know it Seth.

  • @drsoandso DC recieve 5200 hours classroom instruction whilst two years clinical. MD/DO recieve nearly 4600 hrs. The medical clinicals are not germane to chiropractic thus are not factored in educational measures. Chiropractic has postgraduate diplomats in orthopedics, neurology, etc.

  • ADD! What a made up condition. Right up there with Restless Leg Syndrome. Convenient for drugging young children with psychotropic "medications". Fuck the medical community.

  • @chiropractic47 Would you care to comment on the hours/days/weeks/months that MD/DO's spend on clinical rotations during their 3rd/4th years? How much time do DC's get?

How many YEARS of postgraduate training did you get?

Care to clarify for folks that all your classroom hours are spread our over 4 years, while MD/Do's get theirs in the 1st 2 years?

Does that make a little more sense to you, or just a little inconvient truth?

Be a big boy and tell the whole truth, not just your little spin.

  • @chiropractic47 chiroquack (A.K.A. "Doctor" Gross). That may rank among the most ignorant excuss for an explaination of failed chiropractic principles and practice Ive every heard (read)... whats scary is that you may actually believe it. By that particular rational every supratentoral function would be equally impaired... oh, sorry... that is actually what you were attempting to say.

    SHINE on dumbass... shine on!

  • @drsoandso Shmuck. The brainstem lays partially within atlas (C1). Deviation of atlas can cause swelling of the brainstem, inhibiting both neural and vascular supply above and below. It's medicalshmucks the likes of you who make chiropractic SHINE! Corrective then wellness chiropractic for all!

  • @drsoandso Am I reading you correctl? Did you mean "DC's, who recieve more primary care instruction classroom hours (5200 hrs) than MD's and DO's (4600 hrs.), and the DC's having 600 hrs in spinal adjusting techniques...will do just as good a job at providing spinal adjustments than a PT (0 hrs. in spinal adjusting techniques)? I mean; an MD recieves 0 hrs, DO's 140 hrs, PT's 0 hrs, and DC's 600 hrs. What you wrote just doesn't make sense?

  • @ilovesolfege Fair enough... there is some value in spinal manipulation, ect... I find that physical therapists generally do a good job as well.

What I have huge objections to are would be practitioners that either know just enough to be dangerous, or who fundamentally believe that human physiology is at the mercy of "spinal subluxation"... jail is too god for those that try tp take this to its would be logical conclusion (i.e. all drug are bad/chiropractic can cure anything, ect.)
