Hi, This engine was originally built by me as a novice some years ago, with mods along the way. It's an easy and inexpensive first build for novices to dip their toes in the water and get bitten by the live steam bug. Reckon on about 100 hours, maybe a little less according to experience to complete it.

Check out the free download on my site - the book should be completed in another 5 or 6 weeks.

The gas bottles I use are the 450gm camping gas bottles with screw connectors. They are in most camping and outdoor shops.
