time lapse clips showing a glimpse of the solstice visuals in this lower Michigan region ...

the eve of was collected in Leland, Michigan
the solstice sunrise in Northport
and the sunset near Glen Arbor

a lot went on during the collecting process ...
ie: during the star/sunrise segment (around 1:22 near the center of the frame) you'll see Mars rising, followed by Venus and then a sliver of the moon(1:33 left of center)!

I also saw the ISS flyby, but the sky was too bright for it to record in the timelapse well enough to be seen : (

  • Wow!! I mean wow! this gave me the chills. Thank you again for letting me be a part of your world class art!!

  • the Kudos are mutual Jason ... thanks for 'stopping by' ...

  • that is crazy did you convert all the images in the second scene to HDR and then make the vid?

  • good call dR00Ck ... yes, the one segment was done with a faux hdr to help lighten the scene so you could see what was going on.
