Incredible sound. Are these very different to the new Strats? I got a modern USA, and it has none of the fat, metallic chime of that one!

@theedge269 Hi, old vintage Strats have a very distinct tone, at least to my ears. The wood finished the drying process and the tone is usually more opened without the harshness I get from new Strats. If you don't want to get into vintage stuff, you could try the EJ Strat. From all of the modern strats, I think it's the best.
