The prologue to the new Larry Lo Presti movie, "Blood Bath of the Bat Beast". My job was to convert color video of a staged archeological dig into moldy B&W "film" for an old-style 1940's newsreel. I also narrate the piece as announcer/commentator "Florian Lowell".
The voice over was Spot on, but the last part with the scientist was just a bit weird.

@aarontrack4u "A bit weird" is okay for a movie like this.. You should see the REST of the movie!

You did well making it look authentic, love the era myself. :)

Thank you, Larc! I had been working on some "Bad 16mm film" effects elements during the last month for a series of "educational " films spanning four decades (1940's thru '70's), and this newsreel prologue was the perfect opportunity to test drive some of these effects on a working project. I've also always wanted to do a narration in that antiquated John Cameron Swayze style, too!

Awesome job. The sound "quality" was spot on as well.

Thank you, David! Yeah, the crappy sound really does sell it! The only thing I haven't been able to achieve with my current audio software is "Warbling" or "Wow and Flutter", but I'm working on it!
