Gamer than likes ubuntu: Dual booting. Just leave windows with enough space to save games that is if you cant playing them using Wine.
-
You can also get "play on linux" I think it's called...
I must admit, I was a fan boy when I made this video, but I still love Ubuntu ^_^ 9.10 soon!

An OS with such a level of security got cornered by what? By an OS that needs 2 Antivirus software to reach 50% of its security level.
I hate Microsoft but I need to play those latest games :( Well, there's no actual freedom in our world.

Stability of what? The kernel is very stable.
It might be you were using an unstable application, or version of it, or you had misconfigured something, or you had hardware problems, or any of a 100 different things that can ppossibly go wrong.
and by the way, Ubuntu is considered a bit buggier than other distros. If you want the most stable distros, that's debian, red hat, slackware, gentoo, arch... I haven't used all of these myself but I've done a lot of research into it

Stop deceiving people! I mean "Linux is easy to use"? HAHAHA! LOOOL! If writing console commands for the easiest tasks is easy then...
People its 2008! Do you so called "geeks' ever heard of buttons, check-boxes, roll-down menus, tabs, right click, double click etc.! Just to find some basic information about you hardware you need to write several commands in the terminal! -> linux - waste of time

Ummm, The only time I had to use the terminal was to install my wireless card. Everything else is pretty much just checking a check box. I hate it when people think that you have to use the terminal to install anything. And if you need help the Ubuntu site has the help you need. Waste of time? Yea right! People that don't use Windows don't know how much faster their computer can really run. I've probably spent more time waiting for Windows to do it's thing than learning to use the terminal.

linux offers too much for free...but that doesnt mean it can compete with windows or osx right now.Cause in the end is all about productivity.Too many profecional programs dont work ok linux.. wine is baggy...no drivers for many hardware and i dont care how many times you ll flip your desktop with compiz...the reality doesnt change.
