  • Nice! I think you should open your hi hat a bit more, but other than that it's fucking legit!

  • @MohanoHead I'm glad I reached someone! Buy the albums! Never a dull moment! :-)

  • @StaticXFM haha i agree! Not only bad camera but bad camera angle too!!! I like seeing the kicks as well and only a top-down view can get this right. I'm sorry if I came across bitter but it seems that every time I see someone trying their hearts out to emulate their idols on youtube, someone always seems to try to bring them down and possibly putting doubts in their minds that they came never be like them. I apologise, I mistook you to be one of those haters! Peace!

  • @piscesfreak1 I'm not trying to bring down people who are better than me, and my aim wasn't to insult the guy who did this cover. People that are better than me at something, are mostly inspiring for me.

And I wouldn't count some of the best metal drummers out there as an inspiration for my own drumming if I were always trying to bring those down who are better than me.

I already believe it was not faked but a bad camera that created this effect. I didn't want to insult anyone here!

  • @piscesfreak1 True story....the video "Blake Richardson recording Obfuscation" can explain what you mean....no limits buddy...

  • @StaticXFM We call this behaviour: TALL POPPY SYNDROME. Always trying to bring down those who rise above and prove they are better than you. You mustn't listen to metal if you don't think people can actually play with this kind of skill. Try listening to Between the Buried and Me, you will see that there is virtually no limit that a drummer can reach.

  • It also seems like it would be so much more difficult to play a song slowed down and then actually speed it up so that it fits with the song exactly. it's just so much simpler to play the song at it's normal speed.

  • 5 people eat babies.

  • Blood Mountain and Crack the Skye are both masterpieces. Great cover, Idk why there's so many dislikes.

  • awesome! Great playing.
