This is my MA film ATEM, here's what I included as a synopsis for festivals;

'This unique animated short takes the viewer on a spellbinding journey through life cycles and cosmic shifts. With dreamlike pacing and an excellent soundtrack, this is not to be missed.'

The concept began as a string of seemingly unrelated ideas which finally, after a lot of help and essential organising from my lovely wife, slotted together into what you see here. There was another scene that I had planned to include after the seething crowd, maybe one day I'll re-visit it and fill that in, but I've since gotten used to the ending as it is so we'll have to see. Again, my brother (Oliver Emanuel) created the soundtrack which blends wonderfuly with the visuals, and really creates the atmosphere. He's composed music for four different animated shorts of mine. Software I used was a combination of Photoshop, After Effects and Flash.
