messgron - he didn't poison the dog. He gave the dog what he knew was his favorite treat during his life. The dog loved pie and he gave it to his dog as his "last meal", something that he knew the dog would enjoy. Then he took the dog to the vet and had him put down gently with an overdose of valium then the elixer that vet's use for such a purpose.
mezzgron - this was a film made to depict the moments that we go through when we lose a companion. The dog looks young, but it's an actor. In real life it would be a very old and sick dog. The man and dog in this film are actors.
@kungfudoggie Thankyou for clarifying.. so sad D:

i've got the story line...
but the point is that the dog looked sooo well in his conditoin.
those film makers should 'ave shown us how much ill he had been.
.....or he wasn't sick at all?
did the man commit suicide afterwards???
dunno.....
