The Entrepreneurship Project (EP) is the first inclusionary entrepreneurship program in the country designed for disabled and non-disabled students. Never before have special and general education students established a joint venture, nor has there been a curriculum developed to meet both groups learning styles. The program uses differentiated instruction to teach students who have learning disabilities and cognitive impairments in collaboration with their general education peers. The kinesthetic methodology teaches students how to develop and launch a product or service by utilizing real-world strategies. Students are learning collectively product development innovation, marketing strategies, pricing matrix, selling techniques, intellectual property, and business plan development. It encompasses both the Michigan Grade Level Expectation Contents and Extended Grade Level Content Expectations and follows the National Content Standards for Entrepreneurship Education.
