LBP - Fake Item Example (LBD - LittleBigDevelopers)

Little Big Planet
Makes the player think they obtained an item when they haven't. Instead of using standard magnetic switch and key method used grab switch on dissolving material in shape of the item. In this example used Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, White keys and High Jump Boots.
Door example shows once key obtained can be used to open all doors of same color as key. White key opens chest, and Boots activates the hinge .

@ZeroVirusEXE Agreed, also, different methods have different effects, such as this one keeps the door closed until you "open it", where as yonono1's method would simply destroy the door when the key is obtained, not realistic

@yonono1 You don't get the point of the video, he's trying to show how once you obtain a key, you are able to open every door specified to that color. Your method would just unlock all the doors of that specific color and would thus be useless to the concept of obtaining keys and having access to certain doors.

BTW, that's very disrespectful how you address a guy who is just trying to contribute ideas; there is no right way to do something, as long as you get results. Ends justify the means :P
