@Mappos I dont know much about cubase, however I believe that if buy the VST effect version of this, you can put it on any guitar track that you would like. So I am pretty sure the answer is yes.

does anyone know if this can be used in pre recorded guitars (recorded straight via mixerboard, so no eq's or distortion) in cubase?

@ipnutt22 True, I bought the Toneport UX 8 and it came with pod farm, but I did try to use it with my XPsound interface and it wouldn't work. There's no selection for anything but line 6 interfaces in the selection box
