hi guys its pro68camaro giving a update on the 55 gallon salt water. I have incountered a problem with my amonia level. I believe I added to many fish to fast which caused them to rise. therefor now my favorite fish, my yellow tang has gotten ich. so now im quartentining him and treating him with a copper product. hoping he gets better. if you have any advice let me know. thanks.

  • @phatheadedbastard83 not much. Only around prolly 400 on the big tank. Im not the richest guy in the world. Would love to have a 5000 dollar tank but I have no job at the moment :(

  • nice dual tank action bro god i love the big one hmuch do you have tied up in those?ballpark!thx for the sub on my channel

  • @huskerzGBR yea im going to buy some from live aquaria in bulk. then im going to cure it in my 30 gallon. but yea my tang is doing way better now. I put him back in the tank yesterday because he was doing better and had no visable ich spots on him anymore but a couple hours after I put him back in he started getting it again. so I treated it with some amolock from api and when I woke up this morning he was all great with no spots. also soaking his food in garlic juice. he loves it.

  • yeah get some more cured LR but you could prob use a chemical ammonia reducer for the time being

  • @huskerzGBR its pretty cheap set up. Running a aqua 70 hob filter with the foam, carbon and liverock rubble for media. A aquaclear 70 power head. A coralife quad compact floresant fixter which is half broken so only runs 2 bulbs. Ik i need alot more liverock really bad thats my huge prob not enough to filter all the amonia givin off by the fish. I rushed it and now im paying for it. It my be a 32 dollar mistake. But im getting more liverock as soon as i can afford it. Hopefully he can make it

  • sorry to hear that man, hopefully the tang does alright. I've herd that its common for tangs to get ich though... Always gotta be slow when adding fish also need lots of LR or something to help with bio filtration. whats your set up on this tank?
