The Mauser action is regarded as one of the strongest and safest. Usually any bolt action with front locking lugs is going to be considered stronger than rear locking lugs (Enfield or Mas36). They are all pretty strong and definately safe (as long as you are using the correct cartridge).

@Allante715 Thanks for the comments. I am only an amateur and so you probably know this better, but for what I have read it seems like the Mauser bolt was the best of the age. At least the safest and the strongest. Do you agree ?

Shorter sight radius, Shorter barrel makes for a inherently less accurate rifle. Significanly lighter and more compact that the other three rifles. Straight pull bolt makes for quicker shooting. The Steyr is much more compact and just is a handy little carbine. Much lighter than the other 3 rifles. Does not help with recoil, obvisouly.
It is odd, I have all 4 rifles and I prefer the SMLE or Kar98k. That and 8x56R is a buck a piece!

Does the Steyr M95 have any advantage compared to the Kar 98k, the SMLE or the Mosin Nagant ? It seems to me like a really odd carbine...
