18-06-08 - It's Windy In The Willows Pt 1

I am back on the pack for a short 24 hour session.
My friend and ace carper Rob Farrant is in the 'willow bay' swim contemplating moving into the 'fields mate' where fish are showing.
After a quick chat and a cupper however he decides to stay put, so wasting no time I move expectantly into the fields mate.

love the pod half way in the water....looks a nice swim bit muddy but i love a good overgrown swim

thats the trouble with most lakes now...they just cannot seem to leave swims alone

they create swims made of hardcore and railway sleepers ecut down trees ect

never liked swims like that much

much prefer to get wet and muddy

You seem to have some great fishing where you live.

I'm a Yorkshire lad and it's always a struggle getting onto a good lake in the area.

Are you using the Fox A pod?
