This is an old song on my old guitar. This guitar has been somewhat neglected recently so I thought I'd tune it up and get the dust off it. Tilly220 - I gave a valiant effort to do a Nanci Griffith song and searched several sites that might have a song of hers that I'm familiar with to no avail. I must say I failed miserably. Then to see coolanddark pull one up off the web listen to it a couple of times then play it spot on - well - I gave up. Dan -- you're the man. I thought about doing Paradise. My thoughts were that Nancy and John Prine sang a song together, Paradise being a John Prine song, and Nancy obviously knows John Prine, I thought maybe that would wash. But I thought better of it, my fingers started to hurt (hadn't played the twelve string in a long time) so I thought I'd do a simple 2-chord ditty. Oh well - hope you like it. It's an old traditional song from days of yore.
