Have you tried the El Rey er2 as well? I'm on the look out for a new guitar that will be my main guitar for many years to come. I'm into all kinds of music, but I understand that neither of these guitars are suited to play metal. I'm a pop/hard rock/blues/jazz/country kind of guy. Love the hollow and semi hollow tone
