fantastic video, thank you, i just swapped from pop3 to imap today and its going to make my life a lot easier, as i use a pc, a laptop and a smartphone, this way i can just send emails from my smartphone outside and when i switch on pc it will automatically sync, wow, i turned into a geek and need a life apparently!

Exactly what I wanted to know. From this explanation, I now know what options to use when configuring different email setups. It was a simple explanation for what the acronyms POP & IMAP stand for and how the email flows using each.
Obviously, IMAP is the choice one would choose in most multiple platform situations.

I didn't get one thing said here. I never used outlook, or express, or whatever else. I only use online email programs such as hotmail and gmail. It sucks, ignorance is a bliss. Can somebody plz help me understand?
