Excellent Video. Good research in the scriptures. Why we 21st century Americans insist that the Bible bend to our culture, idioms, metaphors and thought process, rather than us adapting to the culture, idioms, metaphors and thought process of the writers of scripture, is somewhat of a mystery to me. The only explaination I can think of is that we tend to bearrogent in our approach to scripture.

People that endorse or teach the rapture theory, and other fallacious teachings are not exegeting the text. The truth in Rev. 1:1 says it all - and understanding will exponentially cause you to reconsider your eschatology. 1 "The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must SHORTLY TAKE PLACE. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John"

"The mark of the beast" aspect of Revelation is apocalyptic writing, and is symbolic in 1st century Hebrew culture as the works of your hands, and the thoughts of your conscience. The bible teaches that out of the heart flows the issues of life, and the works of a man's hands, whether he builds, or destroys, determine his actions as reflective of the inner man. The spirit of antichrist is anyone, or anything that rejects Yashua as Lord, and Saviour of all mankind, through His sacrafice.

@2worldsatwar huh? what part of the word did you get that from ,it will not be Islam alone that masses will worship. I think it will be a collection of false gods and churches that the sea of people would worship something like the free masons.

@2worldsatwar Would you like to elaborate on that comment a little?

@newapologia I have no doubt you will be microchipped.
Rev 13:17 And that no man might or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
e-Sword
Mark = χάραγμα = scratch or etching, that is, stamp (as a badge of servitude)
charagma
khar'-ag-mah
From the same as G5482; a scratch or etching, that is, stamp (as a badge of servitude), or sculptured figure (statue): - graven, mark.

@2worldsatwar Okay... First, the "mark" of the beast is clearly a reference to the mark Israel received in the Old Testament (Exodus 13:9). That wasn't a literal mark, why would the mark of the beast be a literal mark?
Second, that's just bad hermeneutics.
