What happened is the north by means of the international bankers (for their intents back then) dumped regulations, high taxes and just trashed the south. They love wars as they profit from both sides of the conflict. Lincoln (as JFK did) double crossed them by printing green backs and they had him done away with. .

The only "hate" associated with the Confederate flag, is the hate of the federal government. Through handouts, the government has enslaved more negroes than the SOUTH ever did. Kinda ironic, don't ya think?

confederate flag represents the white southerns desire to secede from the north and their radical ways of life. though without a majority in congress, lincoln would never have been able to free slaves, and lincoln and many democrat politicians wanted to send the blacks back to africa. white southerns that allow their ancestors to be spit on, by taking down flags and monuments are no better than the pansy whites in germany. either you have pride for your race, or you end up last.

@Southernborn761 what i think they should do is call it quits...they have had many many good years but its just not the same without billy or leon...but thats just my opinion...i would hate to see them go but it just isnt skynyrd without the original members
