to my fellow shipmates- served in 59 and now serve with 131- their TA version. Any sapper out there should try the AACC not only will you feel proud to wear a green lid but also it will help your career path in the Regular Army. Plus we are one of few units within the corps who hold a reunion- that's what i'm talking about- you forge friends for life in 59 or now 24 Cdo Regt RE

@CRC1770 everybody in the royal engineers may have to serve as an infantry soldier if needed, but 59 commando engineer regiment serve alongside the royal marines so yes they may do more. they are taught more advanced soldiering skills on the commando course

The last ones easy, i used to do that a cross our washing lines on our back garden, to get at next door neighbours knickers just for sniff. I tell you she was a right fuck, well worth it, and yes i did get caught, it's those dam sensative lights that come on automatically. things we do when we were kids ehh. got the shag in the end:)

i take it your american, by the choice of words written on this page. so if thats the case, you really have no right to take the piss out of these guys. i was 59 for 8 years, and we fought along side the U.S marines and other forces in the U.S.
so until you have something worth writing on here about my old unit, go boil your head in a bucket of your own piss, you fucking retard!
