Creatures change to adapt to the environment and fill an ecological niche. It is not a set path from ape to people. Besides we did not evolve from gorillas or any modern primates. We had a common ancestor millions of years ago but since then our paths diverged and we became separate animals. Gorillas, or any creature alive today will NEVER evolve into a human being.
