God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen - sung by Jack Marti

The lyrics of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen are traditional olde English and are reputed to date back to the 15th century although the author is unknown.. It is believed that this particular carol was sung to the gentry by town watchmen who earned additional money during the Christmas season. The lyrics to this simple carol are reputed to be one of the oldest carols.

I had to work yesterday, but we spent a pleasant evening with my son and his girlfriend, both Christmas Eve and last night. I've had 52 Christmases now, so they're maybe not quite as awe inspiring as they used to be, but it's still a very pleasant time to spend with family and friends. I trust yours was everything you hoped it would be.
