Sandra Lee host of the highly-rated, Emmy-nominated Food Network show, “Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee,” will be giving everyone a sneak peak and a taste of what’s inside her all-new magazine Sandra Lee Semi-Homemade®. The inaugural issue debuts February 2009.

All her tips and tricks – from Valentine’s Day recipes, to everyday entertaining, to organizing, and decorating – are based on her trademark 70/30 philosophy. It’s a formula by which anyone at any skill level can combine 70 percent ready-made products with 30 percent fresh ingredients, adding creative touches to make something that looks, tastes, and feels as if it were completely made from scratch.

  • "frankly, I have a black thumb, so if I can garden, you can garden..."

Well Sandra, plants won't really grow that well if you water them with cognac.

  • @cakelover89 no its not called having a life, its called being lazy, I know many people who 'have a busy life' but they would be horrified to see her shows, each to their own I guess, but you cant defend the undefendable. If you love good food, if you love cooking, if you have some 'kitchen ethic' then you will understand that Sandra lee's shows are only for lazy asses. Its not being mean, its being realistic

  • @cakelover89 i had know i dead we were female dogs

  • ....……..........……pie

  • she is great

  • Whipped topping is healthy? And I thought I heard everything.

  • "great"

  • @tuffydoodle We hate her because she sucks at cooking... She has never made a good thing, and frankly she's just a drunk who steals other peoples' advice and claims it as her own. And we watch her because we like to make fun of her.

  • @cakelover89 I agree. For the life of me, I can't figure out why people hate her so much. I like her and have gotten a few good ideas for recipes from her. People, if you don't like her, don't watch her!

  • @cakelover89 Being busy is no excuse for being sloppy. There is a way to make good of what's ready in the store, like frozen veg and readily cut meats. It takes me 5 mins to make a sweet'n'sour chicken stir-fry using fillet slices, frozen wok veg, some fresh veg & beansprouts, a few spices, juice and vinegar. Do what you feel is best, but the way Sandy Lee cooks won't keep you healthy. Too many additives, too much hard fat, too little of the healthy stuff. Not to mention too little pleasure!
