Yes, completely disregarding the Great Depression, we were a very rich democratic republic. Btw, I would love sources on these "facts" you bring up (especially about the 6 million number), but I'm sure you don't need them to give us the "truth." Oh, look, I can use quotation marks too.

I must also say that even if its only a million who were killed in the concentration camps, that's still unacceptable in any society. Oh, but just keep tellin yourself what you want to hear.

  • Hello everyone,

I really like this soundtrack and I'm also a BIG Hans Zimmer fan. That's why I made a cover of this song. I tried to stay as close to the original as possible and really put an effort in making something nice. Hope anyone is willing to check it out! ;)

  • Guys, this is beautiful, stirring music-can't you just enjoy it?

  • @CaptainRichardReiben well, we were a state led by a tyrant, you called yourself a "democratic state" ;) btw: the number "6 Million" came up in the last 10 or 20 years. even in auschwitz itself it is stated that it were 4 million. and even this number is far too high, the russians just manipulated it for propaganda. The main difference is: we lived in tyranny, brought to us by poverty which in turn was brought by you. you were a rich, democratic republic.

  • @Fr1392 You forget about the purging of the Jews, gypies, etc. committed by the Nazi regime which totaled 6 million. And the boming of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was the only way to end the war in the Pacific. Even if we invaded the mainland, the casaulties would have been the same. And your country bombed the cities of England during the German Air Force's failure of the Battle of Britain. As for us not being nice to our enemies during that war, bullshit, the Nazis killed without remorse.

  • @CaptainRichardReiben we never killed millions of civilist by bombing the enemy cities. our aim were the factories ect.! We did not nuke 2 big cities full of innocent civilists! Your soldiers werent "nicer" than ours at all! WE STOOD UP! Inform yourself before you talk so much bullshit (Stauffenberg, Weiße Rose...)! And did you know that our soldiers in some russian villages helped those people rebuild their houses etc., whilst their soldiers murdered their own countrymen?

  • @Fr1392 Complete fucktard much? Let's not forget that your Nazi regime killed far more people. You bombed England and they bombed you back. War is war and nothing else. The people of Germany could have stood up against the Nazis when the war was coming to an end in Europe, but instead, they did nothing. Also, the Communists killed more people including your citizens in retaliation for the rape/murder of their own people by the German people.

  • @linee2009 what did they give to you? it hasnt brought you very much to fight our nation (not this single regime, but our nation as a whole, from 1900 to now on). or did you gain any benefits by killing millions of innocent men, women and children, here in german cities and in hiroshima and nagasaki likewise??? your troops werent that honourful, fair and great army you believe them to be, nor they were in vietnam, and not even today...

  • God bless all who have fought bravely for their country. I respect all war veterans, regardless of which war was fought.

  • I never knew what truely happened in the pacific until i watched "Letters from Iwo Jima" & HBO's "The Pacific". I have so much respect for WW2 Veterans regardless but these soldiers in the Pacific truely went through psychological & physical hell. The Japs' kept the American's & soldiers of the British Empire awake every night with flares etc, these soldiers were exhausted. Most of them were young and too eager which got them killed. The Jap's would have won if they didn't "banzai" etc. RIP vets
