  • What a beautiful man, dedicating his life so completely to some small details in history and having the results (the books and the recognition they received) to prove it was worthwhile. Makes me jealous a bit but I am very happy for him. Hope he lives to be 105 y.o. in good health and writes 6 more books!

  • I have such a hard-on right now. Finish the damn book already!

  • I will be relieved the moment book four hits the book stores.

  • A quick google search shows that his son Chase was sentenced to between 3 to 7 years in prison for stealing nearly a million dollars from his clients. Damn shame.

  • Robert Caro is the greatest writer/historian to ever live.

  • What a beautiful interview. I've read all three books and loved them. What patience it takes do everything Mr. Caro does to produce the works that he does.

Brian Lamb is my favorite interviewer. He brings out the most information from the guest and keeps himself out of the interview.

  • These volumes(3) are not only the greatest political histories I have ever read

these are the best books I have ever read!

  • Dedicated his life to small details? Those laws that were passed during the Great Scciety times were among the greatset pieces of legislation to pass in the history of this country,

  • SWeet ! Hell this guy is a genius

at writing prose, have you read the books?

  • What a great interview!

  • I just listened to him on the Charlie Rose show. He is such a sweet guy. We should all have him as our biographers.
