Yes indeed-that is high up there on my wish list when I get to Heaven-along with meeting Mozart. :D

We will have to wait for heaven to see Nijinsky fly out the window!
-
oh yes i sleepwalk arabesques like that too. *sigh
-
I like Barishnikov's version too. But I think there is something to love in most of the top dancers-I can only imagine what Nijinsky himself must've danced like. Alas we only have photos of him in this role he debuted.

I agree with you it's all a matter of opinion. You like masculine Spectres on one hand, yet you say on the other that Legris is the best. That's quite contradictory because if there's something Legris's version is not is masculine. I suppose we both have different opinons of masculine and feminine.

well, there's an opinion, I lke a masculine Espectre, because, the costume and make up feminized a dancer,so the rigth balance could be an androginus silouet but energic and masculine movimients..don't you think. amn who dance like a woman a use flowers costumes and make up can`t winn a ladys heart..

Legris is the one I like the least, too feminine...on the other hand I'm not keen on Malakhov's...too masculine. Kolb and Gudanov strike the right balance I guess.

AHHHHHHHHH...pillìn no haces la combinacion original de double porouette en de danas attitude derriere plus double pirouette en dedans al passe!!!! asi hasta mi abuela!
pd el adorno de la muñeca parece reloj , no me gusta el efecto...
the best for is Manuel Legris with Claude Vulpian at L'opera de Paris, when I saw that was a revelation!!!

You are absolutely right about the combination of double pirouette en dedans attitude derriere double pirouette, watch Gudanov or Ruzimatov both beautiful. I still love Kolb, he has the androgynous quality and charisma. Watch his full spectre on Youtube, it's really good.
