This year, Glades Day School and Summit Christian collaborated to create a environment where the Physics and Chemistry teachers at Summit Christian teach Glades Day School students via high definition synchronous video conferencing, in real time while teaching their own students.

It was awarded the DeWitt E. and Vera Hooker Fellowship Grant by FCIS in April 2010.

The program has been a great success thus far and administrators see this as a valuable tool for independent schools.

The program will be presented at The Kings Academy Technology Conference in West Palm Beach on Friday, May 21, 2010 and at the FCIS Convention in November of 2011.

  • Kudos to the online experience! I did all of my higher education online and loved every minute of it. It is great to be so forward thinking and open minded when your the little fish in a big pond. Great way to use your resources. Keep up the good work.
