@jwallbanger What do you mean was? Don't you mean is?

Reminds me of GE's "We bring good things to life" jingle.

Still remember their sign over the Kennedy Expressway in Chicago!

I liked the "We're Beatrice" campaign. Beatrice came into our town and bought Tropicana O.J. (the largest employer in our county) and made many positive changes to a 30 year old company whose sales were lagging behind their competitors. It made Tropicana the world-wide brand it is today. Trop is now owned by Pepsi (it competes with Coke's brand of juice-Minute Maid)

Research showed "Were Beatrice" alienated customers. Plus Beatrice dumped toxic chemicals into landwater which killed children in MASS. They had to sell off their holdings.

That's probably where Animaniacs got their idea of "Salmonella's Coffee Shop" when Dot says "We're Beatrice"

Interestingly enough, for a short time, Beatrice's international operations were leveraged into the largest Black-owned company in America. If Reginald Lewis, the lawyer who (with Michael Millken's help) hadn't died of brain cancer in 1993, it would have been very interesting to see how the company might have made out during the remainder of the '90s.

I remember the "We're Beatrice" campaign. I also vividly remember this commercial.
But I just remember that everytime Beatrice ran a commercial between 1984-1985, I wanted to throw a brick at my TV. I loathed that ad campaign. I was so happy when they did away with it.

I actually liked the company-wide Beatrice campaign "You've Known Us All Along," which was aired during the 1984 Summer Olympics. That's the musical signature you hear at the end.
