1. We didn't get a declaration from congress so this war is unconstitutional and illegal by UN standards.

2. Who is the enemy? We are fighting whomever the government deems a terrorist. We are nation building. We are dying and getting maimed, and killing and maiming other people so our administration can install a government and stir up oil prices.

3. Who gains from this? Corporations. We are there to make Haliburton, Boeing, Blackwater, etc. tons of money. Three words: No Bid Contracts.

The armies were defeated a long time ago. The battle have been won, the only problem is that a invading country cannot force a people to change under their will of force. Russia tried, Japan tried, China tried, England tried, Spain tried, France tried, but in the end, it must be the people of the countries decision. War is hell. Lives will be lost, but in the end, we are not in a war for oil, or freedom, or for any other reason than being there from this point. It is an endless war.

How do you win a war on Terrror? It is a war of ideas that needs to be handled with distance and diplomacy. We are paying the enemy in Iraq 800,000 per day to not shoot and kill our troops in this "surge." You can not kill your way through a war on Terror - you just through gasoline on the fire. and a LOT of innocent people die in the meantime.

Nobody is cutting down the American troops. I am irritated, however, by American people that have no clue about serving in the military taking the side of these oil crusaders sending our troops to die. WAKE UP man. This war is irrational and unwinable. That's not liberal, that's realistic. If you wanna keep supporting this war, then grab a weapon and stand a post. Either way, our troops deserve all the credit. But this war and this administration has a lot of unnecessary blood on its hands.
