Hello Beads Friends!
This my really first embroidey necklace, as you see. I started with a project of a pair of earring and then I created a necklace ^^ This is the reason why the necklace looks asymmetric and I haven't enough cloth to complete and cover the back part of the necklace. This necklace isn't perfect and it isn't finished yet, because I also run out of my seed beads to create another round to complete the edge of the necklace ^___^ I added the two parts of the necklace that go all around the neck later, just sewing new clothes to the first central part of the necklace, and then stitching on them the beads. I hope that this video will be helpful, and see you soon on the next one!

  • i dont know anything about bead embroidery but i like your necklace!!! so basically bead embroidery is sewing beads to cloth in a design?

  • @melboosie yes, basically yes :-) You can also put some other components on the cloth using glue, and then you surround them with beads :-)

  • WOW, that necklace is beautiful.

  • @CraftyNelle some people loves it, some hates it :-D But I really like unusual creations ^^

  • @BeadsFriends awsome!!!

  • that is absolutely stunning you are a very talented person and please keep up the wonderful tutorials

  • @RgAmelie I just started and for seed beads I put 3 beads on my string and place them and then you go under your work and go back to the beginning 3 and go thru them again it makes them secure ..for larger beads I do 2 at a time and do the same thing.

  • Your handiwork evolved to be a geometrical design that aimed for symmetry and then you apologized. Our faces and bodies are not symmetrical. I enjoyed seeing the reverse and details of your finished project. It only took you 2 months? It is lovely that the scratchy clasp in the back does not rest on your neck because you raised it with the backing. The lack of a finishing row to cover the double-layered backing at the seam does not detract from it and might scratch and catch your hair?

  • I loved it! How do you sew all the beads together, I mean one next to the other? I still can't do that

  • it's is really gorgeous!! you should make a tutorial..
