Dr. Bill Thomas has been invited to speak at the June 4, 2011 TEDx conference in San Francisco: Alive! Maximum Living as a Human. Unlike many TED speakers, Bill will not be sharing advice or technologies to help humans stay younger longer. Bill will be an ambassador of elderhood and explore the richness of aging.

  • Glad to see that you are talking about Elderhood. I have been working on this for several years and have several short essays about it on a web site named for what people type into search engines:. anti-aging-articles just add the necessary ws and .com to that and you will be there., Lots on the site but the pages about elderhood are special...and I have continued the topic in some of the monthly newsletter.

Would be glad for an exchange of ideas. Kate Lindeman

  • Thanks for the invite to comment, Dr. Thomas! I love those talks! I wondered when they'd invite you to talk at TED. The following video is one of my favorite that I have shared with others. (won't let me post the link, here's the end, simon_sinek_how_great_leaders_inspire_action)

I explained in my business class that traditional care is like an assembly line & removes quality. Show the culture change, the people and show the bulls-eye organization. You're great with words! You'll prove it!
