Wake up with this amazing, delicious, easy, inexpensive Super Hero Health Drink!

I like to drink mine on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning. Best not to drink after a meal because it absorbs into the blood stream so quickly, you might get a tummy ache if you have food in there already.

You will need:
oranges (or whatever sweet citrus you prefer, as many as you like)
citrus juicer (whatever you have)
wheatgrass (as much as you can handle)
high speed blender (Vitamix or Blendtec)
nut mylk bag (you can use a paint strainer from the hardware store)
pure water (enough to make the grass blend)

Directions:
1. Juice your oranges and leave the pulp in (you want as much fiber as you can get without gagging on pith or seeds)
2. Set aside Juice
3. Cut fresh wheatgrass and add to blender with enough water to make it go (you could blend just juice and grass without water, but it gets too frothy). The water also helps reduce oxidization.
4: blend grass until smooth and creamy
5. Strain grass juice through nut mylk bag
6. Mix grass juice with citrus
7. Enjoy within 5 minutes of juicing for maximum benefits
8. Compost your scraps

This healthy drink tastes so good! Even people who can't stand wheatgrass or even regular greens love it. It will knock your socks off!

  • Really good video I got a question tho how long that those that juice say good for now if u keep it in refrigerator ? Thx I can't wait to taste it

  • @1800hustle Thanks. Wheatgrass must be consumed within 5 minutes of juicing for maximum benefit. It's best not to store it for any length of time. You can store orange juice for several days and just add the wheatgrass in or drink a shot of grass and chase it with orange juice instead. Thanks for watching.

  • @thrivesurvive hey what are your thoughts about that wheatgrass extract they sell at gnc and stuff?

  • @Icedout24xx It seems to me all the good stuff leaves after it is dried. At the very least, it seems it would loose potency. But I don't really know the science. When given a choice, I always prefer to opt for the whole, natural food, with everything in tact. If you have no other options, and supplements seem to have an effect, however, some dry wheatgrass is probably better than no wheatgrass.

  • This is a very entertaining juice video. If it gives you an upset stomach, it's because your drinking that much of it with Orange Juice. Too much orange juice alone upsets my stomach, let alone mixed with Wheatgrass. I have a recipe for it coming out and it taste great. No upset stomach and I make it the same way you guys do. When I release it I would say only use about half the grass your using.

  • @rashb Thank you for your helpful suggestion. I may try it again later. :) Thanks for watching.

  • @Blackgeoff1 eeew. Garlic? yipes! hehe

  • I'll have to try this orange juice in with the wheatgrass - wheatgrass juice alone may be great from a nutrition point of view but it still tastes like cow shit to me. I tried juicing garlic into it and .... well, forget that one. .. yek!
