Palin's elitist shopping spree rocks McCain campaign

Elitist ShoppingGate is the latest political scandal to rock the McCain-Palin campaign. Gov. Sarah Palin benefited from an elite $150,000 clothes shopping spree paid for by RNC Republican backers since Sen. McCain made Palin his vice presidential pick. $75,000 was spent in one single Minnesota shopping trip. Palins maverick status and claims of empathy with the middle class, conservatism and fiscal responsibility clearly are suspect. The Republican excess exhibits a clear double standard from a party that lashes out at Democratic candidates for far less extravagant spending. I think the Palin family is white trash & something needed to be done to clean them up but I think it was wrong to spend OVER $150,000 on taxpayers dime. That money was donated by Republicans who supported McCain's election.
