we have to many idiots and sheeple in the republican party. I am at the point were I hope the libs win everything for about 10 years. A total defeat and annihilation of the republican party is all that can save the conservative movement.

The Bush style of diplomacy served only to inflate the already zeppelin scale egos of thugs like Admijenad [ sp] and Chavez by catering to their fantasies of power and importance, while simulateneously increasing their popularity in the region via sheer belligernece. Obama notes that Chavez' miltary is 1/600th that of the US and to date has done nothing to further inflate the massive head of creep in Iran. In short, pragmatism trumps Cowboy diplomacy every time.

Not sure why you thought Obama's foreign policy was a breath of fresh air, it was and IS identical to Bush's. As for "laissez-fair extremism" from the "conservative movement", can you please give me examples of anything "laissez-faire" ever being implemented under Bush and the Republican congress? The "conservative movement" was simply a big government conservative movement. They just wanted to use government to implement a stronger facist (corpatist) and more religious country.

All Rush Limbaugh and his kind will do is reinforce the whole Left vs Right mindless paradigm. Ron Paul should be the main voice for the GOP if it wants to revitalize itself. He has ALWAYS STUCK TO PRINCIPLE and also has some appeal to progressives and some liberals especially in terms of ending all unnecessary wars, civil liberties, ending the drug war and so on.
As far as I'm concerned, the C4L just needs to keep growing and spreading their message. We don't need Rush.
