Anyone who thinks Obama is a Liberal has not been paying attention to what he does but only listening to what he says

Yes we dont gain anything physically but we are the dominant hegemonic power in this world and it is our responsibility to protect the weak. We exist within the UN as well. We do have a responsibility to at least try to make the world better because making the world better does benefit us indirectly. A better prosperous stable Uganda or any African state can benefit us ECONOMICALLY.

The US wont bother to wipe its own arse unless there was some interests involved. nor would any other government.

Lol.....look at this asshole...still trying to sell that american exceptionalism bs...a noble country "that protects citizens of other countries when their governments will not or cannot protect them...derp derp"...
eat up this shit my fellow americans and let's pretend that it's true just like in hollywood movies.

It's a win - win for some people and huge loss for a lot people, CORPORATES bought politician, POLITICIAN can't directly extract money from military funding but it's LEGAL if they receive donations from OIL COMPANY & DEFENSE CONTRACTORS. US is competing with other NATO member which trying to put their own oil company that's why they need to go to Libya to protect EXXON and sacrifice Gaddafi. I believe the bad guys here is European Oil Company that want to kick Exxon out by creating chaos.

what the fuck, this bitch just keeps making straw man after straw man to attack this guy
"i dont think the iraq war was necessarily about oil"
"OH SO YOU THINK THE IRAQ WAR IS RIGHT? HUH? HUH?"
if you think the iraq war was about oil, provide some actual evidence. fucking morons. Iraq was about the neo conservative conception of military might originating from Dick Cheney and Paul Wolfowitz in the early 90s, the reason we are still there? defense contractors
-
We're not in the Middle East for oil because his father can't stand paying $3 a gallon?! And this guy has a paying job anywhere?! The Cato Institute has certainly had their share of morons over the years but this guy takes the grand prize. He doesn't even acknowledge the difference between our "defense" budget & our "military" budget, which has dismantled the empire & is economically ruining our country. Apparently, he also doesn't get that Cato's candidate of choice is Ron Paul. Thumbs down!
-
Man if my bro heard this he was smack the shit out of this guy. My bro served more than 6 years in Iraq and now is in Afghan. If he even says it was about the oil and making Bush Rich then I will take his word for it!

Uganda is not even in the top 115, so when any of you get the urge to shout "UGANDA IS AN OIL WAR" Don't do it. Refrain, & maintain some degree of integrity. As for this douche saying Libya & Iraq wasn't about oil, well... He is a tight ass neoconservative businessman. The CATO institute is fuck buddies with Koch industries... NEED I SAY MORE!

*** US SOLDiERS: MiSSiNG IN ACTiON ***
They've been replaced instead by FOREiGN MERCENARy CONTRACTORS who have no allegiance to flag or country, only to the $60,000/month they R being offered by the US Government 2 fight on their behalf.
If Americans were fighting their own wars, they'd B DRAFTED.
@ least then they'd have a job*
What a MORON! Iraq WAS a War for oil, idiot! To KEEP that oil IN the ground so that we KEEP $4 a gallon gas!!! You mind telling me how oil companies are going to make profits off of $1 a gallon gas compared to $4 dollar a gallon gas?!!
Wake up, idiot!

War in Libya cost U.S tax players 2 million a day--- sacrificing the poor at home for pure humanitarian grounds to take part in a civil war.
