I don't have anything personal against dogs. I actually feel bad for them. I don't think dogs were meant to lay next to a desk, at an office, all day long. And when a dog is barking at another dog in the office, therefore being a distraction, that dog is simply being a dog. The blame goes to the employer for allowing it and the dog owner for being insensitive and bringing the dog.

So it's not really the dogs but annoying coworkers. I'm sure the dog couldn't have cared less.

Dogs don't belong in the workplace anymore than children do. If you love dogs, great for you. Don't impose your likes on others. I work in a place that allows dogs. Sadly, not all dogs do tricks or are as cute as the one in this heavily produced video. A lot of them are intrusive. One of my co-workers got mad because I didn't pet his dog. I thought I was at work, not a petting zoo. Maybe if I hated my job, a dog would be an interesting distraction, but I actually love my job.
