this is the best video of any seismometer I have seen! The thing that I really like about it is that it shows the inner workings of the instrument! AND it is the only video that shows the one made by the 2005 team (Not the old 1951 team)! This seismometer is my favourite seismometer.

Why mention Archimedes? He never invented a seismometer, let alone one similar to Zhang Heng's device. However, Archimedes did invent a slew of other ingenious devices which benefited the Greek-Roman world in much the same way Zhang did the Chinese sphere.

The narrator had an odd and funny pronunciation of "Han" 漢, saying it with the same tone as "hand" or "band" or "sand", when the "an" in "Han" should be pronounced more like "on" or "lawn" or "brawn". Besides that, the video was ok. I wish they would have said more about Zheng Heng, though. Then again, this was a video about his device, not the man himself.
Thanks!! i needed this for my school project!
