December Session 3

With the mild weather we have been having it is hard not to get out on the banks. I was still looking for fish after my last session where I ended up blanking.

It was raining, it was foggy, it was muddy..but it was productive and that is what I was hoping for.

how come you guys dont use a bobbin? not sure if you call them that but you know what I mean it clips on the line behind the alarm

Again it is one of those things that isn't really carried here in the US so would have to be bought online, becomes a little less important then toher items so I end up leaving it off my lists most days.

They would help, I will admit with some of the lighter hits and drop backs, but in all honesty 98% of all takes are hard runs, except in the winter and I have never felt I missed any carp because I didn't have them. That may change if I fish the canal more as the carp are getting warier there.

Hey man,

Nah we don't live in Lowell but we do fish the Merrimack a lot because I live in Massachusetts, my friend Simon lives in New Hampshire so the M'Mack is a great middle ground for us to meet. Ends up being about 1-1.5 hour drive for each of us.

I've been trying to work on my editing and camera work so really glad to hear you enjoyed it. Gets tough out there sometimes with only 2 hands and 1 camera heh!
