  • just a little something i noticed but E flat = F right?

  • @Kradantoste Wrong Bro, E flat = E flat !!! I think what you mean is E sharp ( which isn't a real key) = F,

    also B sharp = C

  • THANKS FOR ALL THE GREAT COMMENTS !!!

  • adhbass,

    Very nice jazzy solo.

I have just ordered the same bass online.. was wondering if anyone has tried flatwounds or halfwounds on this bass.... or is the damage done by roundwounds negligible?

    Please advice.

    Once again... great solo.

  • round wounds will not damage the fretboard on this bass... ebonal(material used to make the fingerboard) is an extremely hard material. I used some flats, but it lacks the "muah" sound that we associate with the fretless.... but hey you might like it, don't be afraid to try different stuff .... Peace.... Alexl

  • Rickamaru is a fucking moron. People don't play fretless bass for the challenge or the looks, they play it for the sound and (arguably) the increased feeling you can get out of your playing without the limitations of frets keeping you held back to the same 12 notes. I'm also a fretless bass player (a 4 string Ibanez I defretted myself), and I just really enjoy the "mwahh" sound I get out of it and the freedom of using any unnamed note I like. Great vid man, lots of feeling, you're really good.

  • sounds like the star wars tune in bits!

  • @adhbass E flat = D sharp ;)

  • @kmeleon829

I have the same bass, and use LaBella Deep Talkin' flatwounds on mine. They sound amazing. Granted, they don't muah, but they sound wonderful - almost like an upright.

  • 0:12 Sneaking a bit of the Star Wars Imperial March in there ;)

  • You need to relax more, you look and sound tense. You'll play faster and more musically if you do.

  • @adhbass yeah thats it sorry... I mistaken flat for sharp ...

  • very cool solo, man. backing track sets a cool mood too.

  • Muy bueno!, saludos

  • I have the exact same bass. I actually have it in my lap right now. Nice Solo very nice
