New York AREA - The Hudson River: A Health Report

In light of the claims that the power plants on the Hudson River, including Indian Point, are killing fish and affecting fish populations, New York AREA has produced this educational video with Dr. Patrick Moore and Norris McDonald.

Dr. Patrick Moore has been a leader in the international environmental field for over 30 years. He is a co-founder of Greenpeace and served for nine years as President of Greenpeace Canada and seven years as a Director of Greenpeace International. As the leader of many campaigns, Dr. Moore was a driving force shaping policy and direction while Greenpeace became the world's largest environmental activist organization.

Norris McDonald is the founder and president of the African American Environmentalist Association; he has been a career environmentalist for 30 years. Formerly with the Environmental Policy Center (now Friends of the Earth), as Director of the Energy Conservation and Transportation Project, he is an energy and environmental specialist and has served as an advisor to industry and local neighborhood community groups.
