A little tribute to The Vicar of Piddingworth, a magnificent black labrador retriever who peacefully slipped away on 19th April surrounded by the loving care of Dr. Bill Mingram, his vet, his Clarington Animal Hospital staff and Padre Gregory Benton, his adopted Dad for nearly fourteen years. A better friend and companion a man could not have. He was a wonderful bringer of cheer to all; especially to children and those with special needs.
Greg, your site, particularly "I Vow To Thee My Country" has been an inspiration for some years. So sorry to read about The Vicar. I lost my last dog a week before Christmas last year. Very hard. Should you ever be in the Seattle area, I'd be honored to lift a jar with you, and I know the pubs here abouts quite well - and they know me.
