The Omen series is my favourite film trilogy of all time, but 'Omen III: The Final Conflict', directed by Graham Baker and starring Sam Neill, simply blew me away. Stay tuned for the second instalment in this two-part review.
Cheers!

    Omen III is my favorite from The Omen trilogy, but if I got to choose a favorite horror movie I go with The shining (Kubrick)

    @DamnQuilty

    I, too, love The Shining, along with most of Kubrick's other films.

    Is it me, or this review is meant to be sarcastic?

    While there are some scenes which should be classics (Damien's whole ranting monologue should be at the top of the list of the best speeches by Villains in movie history), it's nowhere deserving a raving review like that. The only reason to watch is movie is Sam Neill and Jerry Goldsmith's soundtrack.

    It's the Omen, but heavily watered down. If Richard Donner had directed it, as he wanted to do, it could have warranted such a review.

    No, I'm being completely serious. I thought Omen 3 was a great movie. Probably not as good as the original Omen, now that I've had more time to think about it, but still excellent nonetheless.

    Sam Neill is the only reason why i would watch this movie again. He looks like Sheldon Cooper from Big Bang theory (so adorkable [nerdy cute]). That being said it's really funny to watch with the sound turned down. Sheldon tries to take over the world!!

    The film & the coporations of America, and the spying on peoples E.Mail. What is the 2nd coming, the coming in the Arab world after the Crusades after the Knights Templars. I am just trying to interpet the movie. Who is the Messiah according to them, who has a step mother today & a brother with a different father but the same mother.

    Final Conflict suffered from a tight budget. Also, Sam Neil seemed very stressed and forced in his delivery. I got the impression he did NOT like the role he was playing and couldn't shake that disdain out and his portrayal came off overwrought and unconvincing. The finale was abrupt and weak. There's a plot point that would have been a major turn-off to the audience, especially women, even for this genre of film. Goldsmith's score is just average, repetitive, and overdone.
