@leah3303l Do we have the same dog? Mine is also a huge baby. The other two are older and get grouchy with him when he wants to play. He doesn't realize how much bigger and stronger he is - when the oldest takes a nip at him he curls up like a scared little kid whimpering!

They look just like my boy looked, also a rescue. He is now 10 months and 65 lbs and has the boxy rottie head and the lean shepherd body. Beautiful puppies!

Shep/Rottie also have hip problems...I'm going thru that with mine who is 13. The best dog I have ever had...so smart, gentle and loveable. One hundred and twenty pounds of pure love. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a dog. Man or woman's best friend...no lie.

awww looks so much like mine did when he was little, with this big huge paws. he is twice the size of my other two dogs but is the biggest baby of them all, such a good mix!!!

No - hybrid vigor is a myth. This cross was not done on purpose- this was a rescue dog. If you breed 2 healthy dogs, you will get healthy puppies. if you breed 2 unhealthy dogs, regardless of their breeds, you will get unhealthy dogs. If you are looking for a healthy dog, go to a responsible breeder- one who breeds for something other than to make a profit! People who breed 'hybrids' are only interested in making money- they have no interest in making better dogs.
