  • Competitive Smash IS fun. Just because you're not into it doesn't mean you should hate it.

  • Smash Bros. is more fun without items, you noob.

  • ITS NOT A SERIOUS GAME, its not meant for serious competitive play

  • Meh. Just 'cause it wasn't designed to be a tournament game doesn't mean I can't play it with a competitive attitude =P

  • @DayLaMike Even then, Project M will still have some balancing issues and stability problems, but at least it's better than Brawl vanilla. Well, Melee is the original and will always be the best competitive game out of all the smash titles, or 64. I haven't decided.

  • @TehLilAzn47 This is why Project M and Brawl+ exist. I never said Brawl was a better competitive game. It lacks heavily what Melee had but my point is that Brawl can and is played competitively. You said that Brawl is not a competitive game and I simply gave reasons backed with a good argument as to why you were wrong. That is all really.

  • @DayLaMike I never said it can't be run at tournaments. I'm saying it isn't that great of a competitive game as Melee. It can still be played competitively, but it's still going to suck, because if its random aspects such as random tripping, bad stages, bad character balancing i.e. Meta Knight, Snake and etc.

  • @DayLaMike Your reasoning does not justify Brawl as being a better competitive game though, that is the point im trying to make. It isn't a good one, but can still be played competitively to a certain degree.

  • @TehLilAzn47 There's no reason this game can't be run at tournaments when the game has a "Tourney" mode installed into it. Now please good sir tell me why he would have something that helps run a tournament installed in the game if that's not how it's meant to be played? However like I said to Thad you are free to play the "right" way and get bomb-ombs thrown at you the whole match. BTW SSBM and SSBB are rated T so these "babies" as you say shouldn't even have the game says ESRB. Sorry try again

  • @TehLilAzn47 So catering a game completely to "casuals" who will not be playing the game a year after release is stupid. SSB has and always will be competitive. Sorry bro but no matter what Sakurai wanted the game to be he cannot take away the competitive spirit that this series has by default. Now if sakurai is so interested in making a party game he can hop on the next Mario party or better yet make Kirby Air Ride 2. Your logic makes no sense.
