I'm waiting for it to be okay for cousins to marry and uncles to marry their nieces....heck how about fathers and daughters and mothers and sons!! Or maybe multiples. Atheism is a religion since it is a belief about God. Saying there is no God is still a statement of belief about God. In fact, that people feel the need to speak to the non-existence of God is a fantastic proof that everyone KNOWS that there is a God. (For example, I don't believe in aliens but I don't make a point of disavowing their existence because they don't matter).

@WrappedInRain The reason is say Atheism is the second oldest religion is that the first religion is humbly acknowledging the true creator God and thankfully serving Him. Everything else is man's attempts to remove the truth God from their consciousness so they can set themselves up as the god of their life and follow whatever desire or lust they chose without thinking about the judgement.

This violates the first commandment: You shall have no gods before Me.

@BrotherofWord Atheism is in fact not a religion, what makes a religion is the belief in the supernatural,or gods/god, aside from various other ingredients. Atheism clearly lacks this, so it cannot be a religion. Atheism isn't necessarily the second "oldest religion" in the book, its really paganism. "decisions, and morality" are actually none necessarily motivated by the belief in a god, i mean look at the buddhist their atheist and wow are they humble and compassionate.
