  • @Sockswithoutmatches That's an Ovation uke.. you can get one that's almost identical to it on musiciansfriend. They're made by Applause but it really is the same thing.. same materials, wood etc.. the only difference is the finish and the logo on the headstock.

    why don't you bar the E and D with your thumb instead?

  • @maynotbecool Like.. all 3 strings?? Haha I don't think I could bend my thumb far enough for the top of the uke to do that. But now that you mention it, I've actually met a friend of a friend who did that.. I still think it's much easier to do that using your index or middle finger though.
